I haven’t been out and about visiting leisure spots since moving to our new home, so was uninspired to write my usual fortnightly blog post where I usually share those experiences. And although I’ve typed up small features, and visualised stories while unpacking and rearranging familiar possessions, I didn’t think the ups and downs of the last two weeks would make great reading.
However, the view from the latest Word Loft window is a delight. It differs greatly from the one left behind. Gone are the flowers and greenery of a woodland back garden. My creative space is now upstairs at the front of the house built on a hill. I’ve always been fond of panoramic skies in all seasons, day and night, so as I gaze above roofs and treetops to wondrous horizons I’m optimistic about the future.
I’m longing to return to my normal writing routine and looking forward to being in touch with you again soon.
